I am a terrorist straight out of hell
I just realized that I made this entire costume in about a week (weeknights only). I am both shocked and proud. I don't usually make costumes so fast nor do I still love them afterwards. But I adooore this costume as well as the character of course and want to cosplay this again as soon as possible (minus the 3+ hours of putting on makeup ... with the inconvenient delay of telling a joke, then crying and ruining the makeup) As for costume questions I will post them here as well as in my F.A.Q. Journal: ~The make-up was the Mehron brand (found online as well as in costume stores). We used a combination of the liquid and cake palette but found that using the cake palette on its own (although took more time) worked best. And used a barrier makeup spray. ~Body armor has NO metal in it. It is entirely made of stretch fabric and foam. Chest plate is actually hockey gear that I bought, took apart and covered in metallic fabric. Knee pads and shoulder pads are foam with metallic fabric. Boot covers of vinyl and stretchy metallic fabric for the shoes. Please direct other questions about this costume and others to my journal! And for a better full shot of the outfit you can check out the linkies below! Thanks!
